Fall 2007
The leaves are turning in New England which means it is time for the Curt-C and its crew to fall back to Florida to get ready for the Ft. Lauderdale boat show, our annual maintenance/safety schedules and prepare for an exciting winter season in the Bahamas.

This fall season has brought many blessings upon returning to West Palm Beach. Two of them are the talented new crew members we found. Both will make a great addition to the existing crew.

Our Chief Stewardess, Angela Rose, hails from Australia. She is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and detailed in all aspects of your vacation. From fresh flowers, to theme parties to special interests she will accommodate every need. She makes the saying “No Worries” a reality.

Our new Chief Engineer, “Diver” Dan Fox, hails from New York and is a seasoned veteran on motor yachts. His love for the sea and all of the treasure it holds will give you some unique tales and experiences.

Along with the new additions 3 crew members became engaged this fall. I guess there is a certain buzz following Curt-C.

The Curt-C is ready for a wonderful winter season and we look forward to setting sail with you in the Bahamas!

Summer 2007
Our summer season is well under way, sailing by with lighthouse filled horizons and pristine sunsets. The Tall Ships paraded by us in Newport as we sported the latest charter guests, who boasted openly about their adventure of a lifetime!

We then hosted a July 4th celebration in the city of New York for Independence Day as Lady Liberty looked on – I swear we saw her grin proudly. Also included was a mystical jaunt to Mystic, CT where we reveled in the beauty of historic Mystic Seaport Museum, where our guests enjoyed fun filled days of sailing, skiing and wave running, with echoes of laughter still trailing in the winds.

Artwork-like cuisine and sumptuous flavor profiles danced across the palates of our charter friends.  Hypnotic libations and decadent desserts also added to their merriment. Picturesque settings of New England’s charms, both evident and hidden were discovered, experienced and remembered.

Our compass is now set for a whirlwind of charter times coming up; more charismatic cuisine, stellar service, down-home happy hospitality and lasting memories is what we are serving on the Curt-C!

Hope to see you aboard!

Spring 2007
Ahhhh the Bahamas! We have had an incredible spring; the weather, the people, the food, the fishing, the water sports... Curt-C and its Guests “just can’t get enough”.

Our charters ranged from 6 guests to 12 guests and from families to old friendships.  The captain and crew tailored each trip to the request of each guest and had much success!

Our Highlights include; Cruising the Bahama Banks with barely a whisper of wind and water so clear you could watch sting ray, star fish and dolphins from anywhere on the yacht, Catching Mahi-Mahi in the morning for fresh lunch in the afternoon, Beach Barbeques and eating marshmallows by the fire, Sailing races on our Zuma sailboats, Snorkeling in Thunderball Cave, and our ever so lively theme parties.

We would like to officially welcome our new Chef de Cuisine, Peter Ziegelmeier. His zest for cooking, his high energy and his comedic relief make a perfect fit on the Curt-C. Our future guests are in for an amazing gastronomical experience.

The Curt-C is currently at Rybovich Boatyard for a paint job. It is truly quite amazing to see the boat tented from stem to stern and top to bottom- it is quite the contraption. Most of the work we are doing is cosmetic but don’t worry the crew is spending time detailing trips in New England to give our charter guests a most memorable vacation!

We hope to see you soon.

Winter 2007
Our winter season has been exceptional time and we have met some wonderful guests who were graced with excellent weather. We have been primarily cruising between Harbor Island, Nassau, and the Exumas. These islands offer so many options with which to tailor a trip according to the desires of our guests as well as the weather conditions. Here we are able to offer everything from a relaxed beach day complete with an island-style cookout, to a fun filled stay at Atlantis, or a pleasant cruise through the crystal pool-like waters of the Bahamas.

There have been a number of times this season when we have been requested to transfer late-arrival or early-departure guests between the Nassau airport and the Curt C in the midst of a charter. We have discovered that Safari Seaplanes is a great resource who will arrange ground transportation and then fly our guests directly to or from the boat, wherever we are that day. It’s really exciting to watch our guests fly by just above water level before landing yards from the boat.

We have several more weeks of charter during the spring holiday season, but there are still some dates available for charter.

More to come soon….

Fall 2006
We have returned to Rybovich Boatworks for our annual fall maintenance (yachting’s equivalent of a Shave and a Haircut). We are busy getting ready for the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show at the end of October.

Immediately after the Boat Show we will be headed to the Bahamas for the first charter of what is shaping up to be a busy season.

Newport

Summer 2006
At the end of July we fled the heat of South Florida and headed up the coast for New England. Based out of Newport, RI we had a very successful charter season during which we cruised the entire coast from New York, NY to Nantucket, MA while meeting up with old friends and new along the way.

On our way back to Florida in September we stopped at the Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport, CT for the J-30 North American Sailing Regatta. Tyler and Dave both sailed as crew aboard a New Orleans based boat, Zephyr, in order to clinch the championship for the 5th consecutive year.

Pirates raid the beach

Spring 2006
FishThe Bahamas have proved, yet again, to be a wonderful venue. All of our guests have enjoyed the beautiful islands surrounded by crystalline water.

Most notable experiences included a full-day treasure hunt complete with a crew of pirates, and an extremely successful fishing excursion to the southernmost Bahamas. Christy prepared tuna in every way imaginable and I think David has eaten so much that he will only be eating beef and chicken for months to come.

Winter 2006
We have spent the winter at Rybovich Boatworks  in West Palm Beach, FL involved in the completion of our major 2005/2006 refit. The last stage of the work completed included all new soft goods and fabrics as well as the most up to date entertainment electronics (we are finally prepared to accommodate every guest who wants to listen to their IPod). After this and our previous mechanical refit and new galley, the Curt C looks and feels like a new boat again!
